Veil House is an academic hotel project centered on the concept of gradually unveiling panoramic views through an orchestrated architectural and spatial experience. This journey engages the natural senses, emphasizes raw materiality, and highlights fleeting moments that emerge during transitions between spaces.

Situated on the Italy-Switzerland border, the site is embracing a boundless landscape of splendid, unobstructed views. The concept draws initial inspiration from Christo and Jeanne-Claude's installation, where the motif of the curtain is scaled into the landscape itself. This large-scale veils simultaneously obstruct the direct access and intriguing the curiosity to explore of what lies beyond. The full view is only revealed—and truly completed—through the act of unveiling experience.

Interior partitions are arranged with deliberate rhythms, responding to the proportions of the varying spaces. The sequence of zones progresses from the most public to the intimate private space, each attuned to its function and contents. Subtle moments arise within each spatial layer or at transitional turning points, offering glimpses that hint at the next scenario unfolding ahead.

Architectural interventions guide the visitor's journey layer by layer. Upon reaching the final destination—the bedroom—and reclining on the bed, the panoramic view is at last fully unveiled.
